This is an excellent case of “computers are stupid”.
Chances are a newsletter was sent to you from generic@ts02.somewhere.com while you were away from the office.
The auto-responder you set to kindly inform people of your absence didn’t know that it was an automated newsletter message, so it did its job and auto-responded.
Unfortunately, the sending address, generic@ts02.somewhere.com, likely doesn’t exist, or is set up to reject emails to it.
